LEADING THE PACK:

I was disappointed to see Bill Clinton campaigning for Joe Lieberman in the Democratic primary in Connecticut, after the way Joe stabbed him (and Al, and the party at large) in the back, going way back into the 1990s. It was a relief to see that Senator Hillary Clinton, while also endorsing Joe, did say she would support the choice of the state's Democrats.

Delightfully, now that Joe has been rejected, she has stepped up to the plate. According to Crooks and Liars:
A check from Hillary Clinton's HILLPAC is being cut to Ned Lamont for five thousand dollars. She's the first one to be counted on and make good on her promise to support the winner of the Connecticut primary.
The above photo of me with the Senator was taken earlier this year, when she visited Dallas. Her words sounded good then; now she's showing righteous works as well.

The next logical step would be for her to encourage Senator Lieberman to drop out of the race, or at least push for the stripping of any and all posts he held as a former Democrat.
