Democrats Free Another Innocent Man

Judge Don Adams reports: On July 3, 2008 Patrick Waller became the 18th person freed by DNA evidence in Dallas County when, after hearing the evidence, Judge Don Adams told Waller he was "free to go" This ended 16 years imprisonment on a life sentence for an offense he did not commit. The prior Republican District Attorney had opposed DNA testing for Waller, but Democratic Judge Don Adams granted the request for DNA testing after Democrat Craig Watkins took office.
